Police Investigating Suspected Robbery from Moving Vehicle
It is believed a suspect in a passing vehicle pulled the purse from the victim, causing her to fall and possibly be dragged by the car.

Police in Union City are investigating a robbery last week that possibly involved the victim being dragged by a vehicle. On Jan. 18 at 8 p.m., officers responded to a possible hit-and-run collision at the El Mercado Center in the area of Alvarado-Niles Road and Decoto Road.
Police said the victim did not remember what occurred, but it is believed a suspect in a passing vehicle pulled her purse from her shoulder, causing her to fall and possibly be dragged by the vehicle. Police said the vehicle might have hit her as well.
Witnesses described a black four-door BMW speed out of the area, but it is not known if that vehicle was involved in the incident.
