The Running Dead This Sunday

Have you helped yourself to too many pieces of Halloween candy, or perhaps sampled too many Halloween-themed cocktails Lace up your running shoes and atone for your gluttony!

This Sunday participate in the Running Dead 5K/10k Fun Run and Walk. Don’t forget to bring your favorite pooch for the 5K Pet Walking division.

Enter the Zombie Challenge! Participants will get a chance to dodge the Zombies on the trail. Each runner who dares to participate in this deadly challenge will receive two flags to wear on their hips during the race. Zombies walking the trail will be on the hunt for your flags. Come back to the finish line with both your flags on your hips and receive a special prize.

Dressing as a zombie is purely optional (but share your photo by tagging it #UnionCityPatch).

The location for this spookiness is Civic Center/ City Hall, 34009 Alvarado-Niles Road.
