Union City Barricade Suspect Faces Long List Of Charges
The suspect followed his barricade with fresh charges at the hospital.

UNION CITY, CA — A suspect who prompted a shelter-in-place order in Union City Thursday is facing a barrage of charges.
Randell Turner, 40, surrendered to officers at 11:30 a.m. after a four hour stand-off. That barricade situation forced the closure of streets in addition to the shelter-in-place order.
Following his surrender, Turner was taken to a local hospital for precautionary measures. He was initially arrested for felony charges of domestic violence, criminal threats, false imprisonment, and threatening officers. While at the hospital he acquired additional charges for threatening and assaulting hospital staff, according to Union City Police.

Turner will be held for medical treatment and booked after release.
The location of the barricade was the 1800 block of Baylor Street.
