1 Killed After Small Plane Crashes Near BART Tracks [UPDATE]
BART service is disrupted as a result.

HAYWARD, CA — A small plane crashed in the area of Whipple Road and Railroad Avenue on the Union City/Hayward border on Sunday, killing at least one person, officials confirmed to NBC and CBS.
The plane crashed near train tracks leading to interruptions on BART service. According to the FAA, the twin-engine Piper PA23 crashed under unknown circumstances four miles east of Hayward Executive Airport.
The pilot was the only person on board, according to the FAA.
