Sunday BART Work In Union City

Single tracking will impact service for BART riders heading south.

UNION CITY, CA — If you're planning to use BART on Sunday to ride south, build extra time into your schedule.

BART crews plan to replace traction power cables that provide electricity for trains. The team expects to replace approximately 1,200 linear feet of traction power cable in Union City.

That means if you use BART on Sunday, delays of 15-20 minutes are anticipated between Union City and Fremont because of single tracking.
