Two People, Dog Displaced by Union City House Fire
Firefighters said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Firefighters this morning have knocked down a one-alarm structure at a residence in Union City. Firefighters responded to the 2400 block of Kennedy Avenue late Sunday night in response to the fire. Alameda County firefighters reported the fire at the house just before midnight. Firefighters around midnight said the fire had been knocked down, and a fire investigator was requested to respond to the scene.
The American Red Cross is also responding to the scene to help with shelter for two adults and a small dog displaced by the fire. There were no reports of injuries due to the fire. Firefighters said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
