UC Premier Fuego Girls Soccer Team Proudly Representing the East Bay.

UC Premier Fuego U11 Girls ranked #11 in Northern California.

It's a great accomplishment to find the UC Premier Fuego U11 girls soccer team ranked in the top 15 teams of Northern California. Ranked at #11, Fuego is among much larger soccer clubs, which hail from the Sacramento, Mill Valley, Danville, Livermore and the Modesto areas. All the U11 girl soccer clubs ranked in the top 15, with the exception of UC Premier, have player pools as large as seventy or more players, with the luxury to field three and four teams in one age division.

When asked about the team's success, Coach Victor Juarez stated, "The Fuego team has managed to out work and out train their opponents, in order to overcome the challenge of a minimal player pool. I don't look to form a team made up of skilled soccer players, that doesn't happen in our area. I look at taking student athletes, who are willing to work harder than anyone else on and off the the field, and develop them in to high level soccer players and contributing citizens."

This off season, Fuego lost five veteran players to the new U.S. Soccer age mandates. However, the team has acquired six new players, whom they are excited to welcome. This Spring season, Fuego will participate at the Premier level in the NorCal Premier league and continues to be invited to participate in prestigious showcases and tournaments, such as Pleasanton Rage Jr Showcase, Mustang Stampede and SC Sporting Invitational to name a few.

Fuego's long term soccer goals are to be the first UC Premier girls team to play in the NPL (National Premier League) and to proudly represent UC Premier and the East Bay at the nationally top ranked Blues Cup and Surf Cup tournaments in Southern California.
