Union City Family Robbed At Gunpoint In Garage

BREAKING: Police said the two suspects, who were armed with handguns, fled on foot and are still at large.

UNION CITY, CA — A Union City family was robbed at gunpoint inside their own garage late Sunday night, police officials said. The two suspects, armed with handguns, allegedly followed the family’s car into their garage. Police said the suspects demanded cash and valuables from the victims.

The suspects fled on foot on Washington Avenue towards Oregon Street. No one was injured during the incident and police remind residents to be aware of their surroundings at all times.

The first suspect was described as a black adult male. He weighed about 185 pounds and was about 6 feet tall. He had a mustache and goatee. There was no description for the second suspect.

“Union City Police Detectives are currently checking with residents in the area to determine if there are any witnesses or videos of the incident,” police said in a statement.
