Union City K-9 Retires [Video]

Marx has pulled his final shift. Watch how his fellow police officers honored him as he walked (on leash) into the sunset.

Union City, CA - Union City Police Department K-9 Marx worked his final shift Wednesday.

Marx, along with his handler Officer Leete, have served the police department and the people of Union City for just over six years.

Marx served as a member of the SWAT team, helping to secure dangerous locations before the SWAT team members entered. He was also on cases in Fremont, Newark and Hayward.

He also made dozens of appearances at community functions, and was a huge hit with the kids.
