Union City Man Arrested: 3 Tons Of Marijuana Seized In SoCal

Eight search warrants were served and four people arrested during Monday's raids.

ANZA, CA — Approximately 4,194 marijuana plants were eradicated and 383 pounds of processed marijuana seized at Anza locations Monday, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

In addition to the nearly three tons of marijuana found at the sites, during search warrant services deputies also seized a rifle and handgun, a honey oil lab, and two containers of banned chemicals used in marijuana production, according to the sheriff's department.

The department said the following suspects were arrested on suspicion of marijuana cultivation:

  • 55-year-old Anza resident Rhonda Easterling
  • 30-year-old Union City resident Jesus Ojeda
  • 67-year-old Anza resident Pedro Campo-Hernandez
