Union City Police Arrest Man With Loaded, Concealed Gun
Police report that the man "violently" fought with officers.

UNION CITY, CA — Union City Police arrested a man suspected of carrying a concealed weapon, resisting arrest, and providing a false name.
On Saturday, police said that the previous night K9 Officer Rosa Canjura stopped a vehicle in the area of Deborah Drive and Ellen Way.
He reportedly tried to provide a false name, but was recognized from previous encounters with police.

"As Officer Canjura began searching the driver, she discovered a loaded semiautomatic pistol concealed under his waistband," police said. "The driver then began to violently fight with officers, but was eventually taken into custody."
