Union City Police Seeking Purse Snatching Suspect, Accomplice

UNION CITY - Police are seeking two suspects in connection with a purse snatching that happened earlier this month in Union City.
At about 10:45 a.m. on Jan. 14, officers responded to a report of a strong-arm robbery near the corner of Alvarado Boulevard and Galaxy Drive. The victim said she was walking on Alvarado Boulevard when a suspect walked up from behind her and pushed her while pulling her purse off her shoulder, police said.
Police described the suspect as a white man between 22 and 30 years old who is about 6 feet tall and weighs about 170 pounds.

Another suspect was later spotted on surveillance video using the victim’s debit card after the robbery.
