Union City Police Seeking Tool Thief

UNION CITY, CA — Police are looking for a man who allegedly stole tools from a vehicle in Union City earlier this month. Police said an officer was dispatched to the Union Landing Shopping Center on April 12 around 4:30 a.m. on reports of a suspect removing tools from the bed of a pickup truck.

According to police, the suspect was then seen fleeing the parking lot in a similar looking pickup truck.

The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic man in his 30s or 40s, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 185 pounds with short hair.
