
UNION CITY, CA — Union City Police arrested two suspects and seized a loaded semiautomatic handgun with a high capacity magazine, drugs and cash this week.
According to a narrative from the police department shared on social media, "K9 Officer (Terrence) Olson was patrolling the area of Mission Bl. and Tamarack Dr. when he observed three subjects quickly walk away from a two parked vehicles. He quickly recognized one of the subjects from a previous encounter and that subject was on searchable probation. Upon contacting the subjects, another one was found to be on searchable probation. K9 Officer Olson searched both vehicles and recovered narcotics for sale and, in one of the vehicles, a loaded semiautomatic handgun with a high capacity magazine on the front seat next to the drugs."
No injuries were reported in the arrest.
