UPDATE On Morning Capitol Expressway Shooting
One injured, suspect fled in car. Traffic not disrupted.

SAN JOSE, Ca - Police are investigating a shooting that injured one person in South San Jose this morning. The shooting took place around 9:50 a.m. at Capitol Expressway and Copperfield Drive, about a half-mile east of state Highway 87, police said on Twitter.
Police initially said the case was a double shooting, but later clarified that there was one victim, a male who suffered injuries not considered life-threatening.
The suspects left the area in a car on northbound Copperfield Drive, police said. Multiple police patrol cars were seen at a shopping center northeast of the intersection.

Police have blocked off Copperfield Drive at Capitol Expressway, where a gold van that appeared to be disabled was in the right northbound lane and struck the center divider.
Traffic was not disrupted on Capitol Expressway in both directions. No further details were immediately available.
