CMRS October Open House | October 24–25, 2026
All aboard for a journey through railroad history!
The Carquinez Model Railroad Society invites you to our October Open House, featuring Fallen Flags — the legendary railroads of the past that helped shape America!
From the mighty Southern Pacific to the countless regional and short-line railroads that once connected communities across the country, we're celebrating the railroad names, colors, and equipment that have become part of American history.
For two days, we'll turn back the clock and bring these historic railroads to life on our massive HO-scale model railroad layout.
Whether you're a lifelong railfan, a model railroad enthusiast, or simply looking for something fun to do with the family, there's something for everyone!
What to expect:
• Historic railroad locomotives and rolling stock in action
• A detailed HO-scale railroad layout featuring cities, industries, and scenic landscapes
• Trains representing railroads big and small
• Friendly club members happy to answer questions about model railroading
