2 Venice House Fires Under Investigation: LAFD
Firefighters put out two separate house fires on Tuesday.
VENICE, CA —The Los Angeles Fire Department extinguished two separate house fires in Venice on Tuesday.
The first fire was reported at 5:32 a.m. at a one-story 100-year-old vacant home that had burned previously. The fire was located at the 600 block of East Flower Avene and firefighters extinguished the fire within 23 minutes.
The second fire was reported at 1:12 p.m. at a single-family home with the bulk of the fire coming from the attic, LAFD said. Thirty firefighters were able to put out the fire at 813 E Brooks Ave. within 22 minutes.

Nobody was injured in either of the fires and the causes are still under investigation, according to LAFD. There was no connection between the two fires.
