Come join us on Saturday, June 7 for the 5th
annual Santa Monica Pier Paddleboard Race & Ocean Festival presented by
Tommy Bahama. Every year the event draws hundreds of competitors and thousands
of spectators. The newest event added this year is the Tommy Bahama SUP Cross,
a high-speed sprint paddleboard race in and out through the surf. Only the
fastest paddlers advance to the next round until one is named the winner.
The event is free for spectators and fun for
the whole family. Besides the races, there will be beach games and races for
the kids, a lifeguard and surf history pop-up museum - plus live music and hula
dancers performing throughout the day. Adults can cool off with a drink from
the Tommy Bahama Rum Lounge or the Sierra Nevada Beer Garden.
