Harkening back to the time of the Beatniks and Bohemians, Victoria Goulet brings together a talented group of poets & storytellers for a unique evening of the art of spoken word, music and dance on the stage at Club Good Hurt, July 23rd, 2014. A passionate poet herself, Goulet, has brought together local poets and artists for an enchanting evening of poetry, storytelling and dance reminiscent of Holly Golightly's House Party in the film 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'. The list of extremely talented poets includes: Ideas Aubrey, Shawna Cupples, Melodie Heitzinger, Jules Germann, Lida Parent-Harris, Mike Orth, Aditya Putcha and D. Pauline Williams. Mr. Barrymore, worked as an actor from 1971 through 1980, and later worked during the 1990s as a voice over performer when he started writing poetry, inspired by the poets he would encounter at the weekly Poetry in Motion readings in Los Angeles. He has continued to write works of poetry and prose as well as an autobiography. The poets will be accompanied on piano by Ryan Beatty, who's residency at The famous Montage in Beverly Hills had him entertaining guests providing an unforgettable musical experience. Award-winning poet, author and screenwriter D. Pauline Williams, will be reciting her Poem, Vaccination, which was featured in the award-winning Dutch documentary, Amsterdam Stories. Lida Parent-Harris will also feature work from her upcoming, soon to be published poetry book. Previously, she was published in 'Treasure for the Moment'.
