Today we are going to focus on the oldest art gallery in all of Venice Beach, Diana Hobson Fine Art. Diana is Los Angeles-based artist who has been painting for nearly 5 decades. Her Abstract Art gallery has been a staple on A.K. for so long, it is easy to pass right by it without even noticing. But step inside and you are in for a treat.
Inside of the Diana Hobson Fine Art building you will find a concept store that is has something for both hemispheres of your brain. Part cutting-edge tech gadget store, part Mac and PC Repair Center and part abstract art gallery, you will find a dazzling array of products for sale including incredible small, medium and large hand-painted watercolors signed by the artist ranging in price from $25 - $75, medium sized-paintings range from a few hundred to just over a thousand dollars while on the high end the extra large paintings are priced from $6,000 - $15,000.
Diana Hobson still paints every day and displays new paintings in the gallery on a regular basis. These paintings not only beautify the space, the location inside of the Tech Studio Mac and PC Repair and Gadget store makes the art more accessible to locals, visitors and tourists who may feel that they are not interested in art in general or have not actually seen how stunning a Diana Hobson Painting is in person.
