Woman Shoots Man During Argument In Venice

VENICE, CA — A man was wounded Saturday when a woman shot him as he sat inside a vehicle.

The shooting occurred about 2:45 p.m. at Seventh Avenue and Broadway Street, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman.

The 42-year-old man was sitting inside a vehicle when the woman of about the same age drove up, got out of a vehicle and argued with the man, the spokesman said.

She then shot the man and drove away, he said.

The man was taken to a hospital by ambulance and had stable vital signs, he said.

The woman was later taken into custody without incident, the spokesman said.
