Body Found On Venice Beach
Police were called to the scene early Wednesday morning when a man's body was discovered close to the shoreline in Venice.
VENICE , CA — A body was found on the sand near the shoreline in Venice Wednesday morning, and homicide detectives are investigating the death.
The body of a man was reported at about 7 a.m. Wednesday near the 600 block of Ocean Front Walk, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The body was discovered close to the shoreline, but police did not release details about whether it had washed ashore or whether the mad died on the sand.
Information was not immediately available on the identity of the man, or on his cause of death.

Firefighters sent to the location on a report of a possible injury found the man dead, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
