Little Green Films Make a Big Impact

Eco Films are now a crucial tool in the planet's fight for survival. Get yours now, for FREE.

The new research "proves" what many of us already knew...watching and showing films about environmental issues makes a huge impact. It is, of course, a delight to see your own sphere of influence grow as you expose friends and family to current environmental problems and solutions by viewing movies. But the effects can be much more extensive. Take, for example, The End of the Line, which tells the inconvenient truth about commercial fishing practices. After viewing the film, the founder of British upscale to go sandwich shop chain, Prêt A Manger, drastically changed its fish buying practices.

This research could not have come at a better time for Mar Vistans. We now have a totally free film lending library, the Eco Film Exchange, with an ever-growing list of first run films and past favorites. If you are new to eco-films, start with Dirt! the Movie, kind of an "eco film lite," guaranteed to alert you to the issues that face our planet without completely freaking you out. Click here if you have any questions or would like to donate films to the cause.
