Breaking: Motorcycle Crash Critically Injures 2, Snarls Traffic in Venice
At least two people were critically injured and Lincoln Boulevard is closed to through traffic in Venice.

Venice, CA -- A multiple-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle injured six people, two of them critically, this afternoon in the Playa Vista area.
The crash was reported at 5:35 p.m. in the 5400 block of South Lincoln Boulevard, near Jefferson Boulevard, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The two critically injured patients -- a male and female who were on the motorcycle -- and two people in fair condition from the SUV were taken to a hospital, Stewart said.

Two other patients were assessed and released at the scene, Stewart said.
The crash closed the intersection of Lincoln and Jefferson boulevards as officers from the Los Angeles Police Department's West Traffic Division investigated and crews cleared the wreckage.
