Car Burglary Suspects Arrested, Third Gets Away
Police called off the search for the third suspect after about three hours.

VENICE, CA – Two suspects were arrested Saturday in connection with a series of car burglaries, authorities said, and police searched for the third suspect for about three hours to no avail. The car burglaries were in the Venice area a few days ago, said Sgt. E. Orozco of the Los Angeles Police Department's Pacific Division.
Officers had been looking for the three suspects and caught a man and a juvenile female about 4:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Riviera Avenue and Grand Boulevard, Orozco said. The third suspect, a man, got away.
A perimeter was established with borders including Riviera and Pacific avenues and Washington and Grand boulevards, he said.

The search was called off about 7:30 p.m., Orozco said.
