VENICE, CA — Venice Beach Skate Park is closed and covered in sand and sand bags as Los Angeles County continues to enforce the stay-at-home order implemented during the coronavirus pandemic.

Crews used a bulldozer to dump sand into the pools and rails starting Thursday. ShakedMag shared a video of that event on Instagram.

By Friday, the work continued at the skate park, which is located at 1800 Ocean Front Walk in Venice. It's unclear when the stay-at-home order will be lifted and when parks will be reopened in Los Angeles County.
