Drowning Reported on Venice Beach Turns Out to Be False Alarm
Paramedics are responding to the Rose Avenue lifeguard tower.

UPDATE at 4:09 p.m.: That report of a drowning near the Rose Avenue lifeguard tower in the 200 block of Ocean Front Walk in Venice was a false alarm, says the Los Angeles County Fire Department’s Keith Mora.

Paramedics are responding to a reported drowning in Venice at the Rose Avenue lifeguard tower near the 200 block of Ocean Front Walk, said Brian Humphrey of the fire department.
