As we create an
URBAN FOREST
a Schoolyard Tree Planting event at WE Garden
This California woodland will include:
-a river rock arroyo,
-a meadow of native grasses/shrubs,
-council seating for outdoor classes,
-native trees,
-and an ecological storm water run-off zone.
Bring your friends, kids, shovels, gloves, and good spirit as we host yet another amazing tree planting event in Venice!
Join the Joyful Activist Club sponsored by Whole Foods Market Venice who will provide music, fun, and delicious food for the event! Bring musical instruments if you would like.
- -Breakfast snacks will begin at 8:30am followed by
- -Tree planting class from TreePoeple and t hen
- -Planting starts promptly at 9am
- -Lunch snacks at 11:30pm.
