The mission of the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation is to create a national movement that will change the way we eat, to reduce dependency on processed foods and empower Americans to cook. The Jamie Oliver Food Foundation was established to fight obesity and promote better dietary health through food education and cooking skills. JOFF will drive a social movement for cultural change, advocate for better food choices and integrity through the food chain and develop educational programs to promote home cooking, in particular in schools and vulnerable communities. The Foundation was established by the British chef and activist Jamie Oliver after he won the TED Prize in 2010, to support his Food Revolution campaign. At its heart is Jamie’s belief that “no American child should grow up without the basic skills to feed themselves a healthy diet.”
