SLOLA: Seed Library of Los Angeles

SLOLA (Seed Library of Los Angeles)
Meeting SATURDAY, AUGUST 20, 2:30 - 4 pm
Library Hours: SATURDAY, AUG 27, 10 to 4 pm
@ The Learning Garden (at Venice High School)

We’re deep into summer and your garden is bursting at the seams. This is a great time to be thinking about how the seeds from this year’s harvest can feed next year’s garden. Was that the best tomato you ever grew? Get an expert lesson in tomato seed saving at the next meeting of SLOLA: Seed Library of Los Angeles, on Saturday, August 20, at 2:30 - 4 pm. We'll be distributing seeds to members at the meeting. And on Saturday, August 27, from 10 am to 4 pm, we'll open the library for regular checkout hours.

SLOLA is dedicated to preserving an open-pollinated, non-GMO supply of seeds, regionalized to the Los Angeles basin, and educating the public on how to save those seeds. A $10 lifetime membership lets you borrow seeds FREE, grow them out, enjoy the bounty, then return a like quantity of seeds at season’s end. Join here: www.slola.org Questions? info@slola.org
