Fallen Power Lines Shut Down Marina (90) Freeway

LOS ANGELES, CA — Rush hour is likely to be more jammed than usual in LA's westside where downed power lines have shut down both sides of the Marina (90) Freeway near Centinela Avenue.

Authorities are advising commuters to avoid the area as the repair work is expected to take two hours. The California Highway Patrol is diverting drivers off the freeway onto Centinela Avenue. The downed lines were reported shortly before 2 p.m. Wednesday.
