Venice, CA— On November 4, 2014, The G2 Gallery will premiere Emerging VII, its annual exhibit featuring burgeoning talents Chris Miele, Eric Rosenwald, Gail Taylor and Jory Vander Galien.
Emerging VII is the seventh consecutive installment of the gallery’s series that began in its founding year. The goal is to bring talented, lesser-known artists to the attention of the public; artists less than five years into their journey to become professional photographers.

The collection of exhibiting artists hails from Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Southern California, and the backgrounds of the photographers are diverse – Galien was a truck driver for many years, Rosenwald earned his Bachelor’s in aerospace engineering, Miele is a photo workshop leader and Taylor is a published author.
“These artists won’t be in the emerging phase for long, “ says G2 Gallery Director Jolene Hanson. “All four have a unique take on their subjects, which is essential for any blossoming photographer.”
The opening reception for Emerging VII, along with Jennifer MaHarry’s Nature LA: Canids and White Lake Preservation Project featuring the photography of gallery owners Susan and Dan Gottlieb, will be held on November 8 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. Admission is $10 at the door and includes wine, hors d’oeuvres and complimentary valet in front of the gallery. All proceeds from admissions will be donated to the White Lake Preservation Project. RSVP to rsvp@theg2gallery.com.
