Gunshots Reported In Mar Vista

Police are looking for a suspect with facial tattoos last seen driving a silver Honda north on Globe Avenue.

MAR VISTA, CA — Los Angeles Police are investigating reports of gunfire in Mar Vista. It's unclear if anyone was wounded.

The shooting was reported in the area of Venice and Sepulveda boulevards. Officers are looking for a suspect described as a male with facial tattoos who was in a silver Honda Accord last seen heading north on Globe Avenue.

A witness reported on Twitter that a 7-Eleven store was taped off near the intersection and a helicopter was circling the area.
