Santa Monica, California - The third annual Home Run for Kids will be on Sunday, February 8, 2015 in the Brentwood neighborhood of West Los Angeles. The Home Run for Kids is a chip-timed 10K, 5K and Kiddie K run and walk. Over 1500 participants and over 30 local schools come out to participate at this community event. All proceeds to benefit Upward Bound House, a leading non-profit organization providing housing and services for homeless children and their families in Los Angeles.

The Home Run for Kids event is open to the entire community. Local businesses, schools, students and families come out for a day of exercise, food and fun. It’s a great opportunity for businesses, community groups, parents and kids to enjoy the morning together, while raising money and awareness to solve the problem of family homelessness; a growing crisis in Los Angeles.
