Homeless Woman Gives Birth At Venice Beach Boardwalk

VENICE, CA — A 30-year-old homeless woman reportedly gave birth this weekend at the Venice Beach boardwalk, according to media reports.

Firefighters responded to an obstetrician call at 11:17 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Ocean Front Walk, near Rose Avenue, Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department told Yo!Venice.

The woman and newborn were taken to a hospital. The mother is reportedly a transient from Virginia.
