Lindsay Lohan's Santa Monica Crash Community Service Still in Doubt
A judge will hold a hearing today to see if the actress is completing her community service after having submitted bogus service hours.

A progress report hearing is scheduled today to determine whether Lindsay Lohan is performing community service work as part her probation stemming from a 2012 crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica.
In February, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mark A. Young ordered the actress to perform an additional 125 hours of community service and extended her probation to May 28 to allow her to complete the requirement.
She was originally ordered to perform 240 hours of community service, which her attorney said the 28-year-old actress had done, but a Santa Monica city prosecutor objected to the type of work the actress was doing in London, where she was appearing in a play.

Santa Monica Deputy City Attorney Terry White said Lohan was receiving community service credit for such activities as a meet-and-greet with volunteers and a “work shadowing experience” in London with two young people who were “basically hanging out with her.”
Young agreed, saying the “court is not willing to accept all the proffered community service hours.”

Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Holley, said she did not object to the added hours, telling reporters that her client enjoys doing community service.
The website TMZ.com reported Wednesday that Lohan was far behind on performing the additional 125 hours of community service, and suggested the actress could find herself the subject of an arrest warrant.
The actress pleaded no contest in March 2013 to reckless driving and lying to police in connection with a June 8 collision in the 1100 block of Pacific Coast Highway involving a Porsche and a dump truck.
Lohan told officers she was a passenger in the car, but investigators later determined the actress was behind the wheel when the Porsche crashed into the rear of the truck.
As a result of her plea, Lohan was ordered to complete 30 days -- equaling 240 hours -- of community service, spend 90 days in a locked rehabilitation facility and to undergo 18 months of psychotherapy during a two- year probationary term.
