Man Finds His Roommate Dead in Their Venice Home

A man found his roommate dead inside the bathroom of their Venice home, a police officer said today.

Officers were dispatched to the residence in 100 block of Catamaran Street about 8:45 p.m. Saturday on a death investigation call, said Los Angeles police officer Sally Madera of the Media Relations Section.

Police have yet to establish a possible cause of the man's death, Madera said.

A representative from the Coroner's Office could not be reached for immediate comment.
