Man Shot Dead in Venice - Shooter at Large
Breaking: A man was shot to death at Seventh Avenue and Brooks in Venice Wednesday.

VENICE, CA --A man was shot and killed in Venice this afternoon and the gunman is still on the loose.
Police received a report of shots fired at 4:06 p.m. Wednesday at Seventh Avenue and Brooks followed by a second report of a male victim down at the scene, said Los Angeles police Officer Norma Eisenman.
“A suspect was reported running from the scene,” Eisenman said. He was wearing, gray shorts, a black hoodie and a mask covering his face, according to at least one witness.

As of 5 p.m., the suspect remained at large and residents are advised not to open their doors for anyone and to call 911 if they see something suspicious.
