Man Shot While Sitting In His Car In Westside
The victim was taken to a hospital with stable life signs.

VENICE, CA -- A man sitting in his car in Venice was shot several times -- including once in his head -- but survived the gang-related attack, police said Sunday.
The shooting was iin the 600 block of Broadway, at about 10:15 p.m. Saturday, Los Angeles police Officer Mike Lopez said.
Somehow, the wounded man managed to drive himself to a gas station at Lincoln and Venice boulevards. There, police and paramedics were summoned to the scene, Lopez said.

The victim was taken to a hospital with stable life signs, and he was treated for gunshot wounds.
No suspect description was available. The shooting was being investigated by the LAPD's Pacific Division.
