Mar Vista Bank Robbery Victims Tased, Pistol-Whipped

Two victims were Tased and another was pistol- whipped today during the robbery of a OneWest Bank in Mar Vista, police said.

The violent heist was reported at 1:50 p.m. at 11310 National Blvd., near Sawtelle Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Two males, one armed with a Taser and another with a handgun, fled in a green Toyota Camry driven by a female, LAPD Officer Liliana Preciado said.

The vehicle may have been stolen, she said.

The conditions of the victims were not immediately available.

It was unclear if any of them were bank employees.
