Mar Vista Family Displaced By House Fire
A child and two adults were forced out of their home overnight when a stubborn fire broke out in their garage.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Two adults and a child were displaced from their home Monday after a fire burned in the garage of their home in the Mar Vista area of Los Angeles, authorities said. The fire was reported about 2:30 a.m. at 2707 South Federal Ave., according to Amy Bastman of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
It took 31 firefighters about 30 minutes to put out the flames, Bastman said. No injuries were reported.
