Pedestrian Struck And Killed In Mar Vista

MAR VISTA, CA — A person was struck by a car and killed while walking in Mar vista Thursday night.

The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Centinela Avenue and Venice Boulevard just before 9 p.m., said Officer Rosario Herrera of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.

The pedestrian died at the scene, Herrera said.
