The iconic sign is blue all month to recognize front line workers.

VENICE, CA — Venice's iconic sign is lit up in blue this month to honor front line workers in the coronavirus pandemic.

All May, the chamber will say 'thank you' and honor the courage and sacrifices of essential and front line workers, Venice's Chamber of Commerce announced.

The historic Venice sign is a tourist location at Pacific and Windward avenues and managed by the Venice Chamber of Commerce. The sign is a replica of the 1905 sign installed by Abbot Kinney.
