Police Arrest Suspect At Venice Boardwalk

VENICE, CA — Police arrested a 25-year-old man at the Venice Beach boardwalk who was apparently acting "unruly," Los Angeles Police Department told Patch.

The incident happened about 7:20 a.m. near Ocean Front Walk and Rose Avenue.

The suspect requested medical help and an ambulance arrived to treat him for minor injuries, police said.

His name was not immediately available.

Code 4, Rose & Ocean Front Walk. Officers had to use a takedown manuever to get suspect in custody. Ambulance requested for suspect alleging what sounded like a relatively minor injury
