Police Seek Victims of Accused Day Care Molester

Los Angeles police believe there may be additional victims of a 67-year-old man charged with molesting children at his wife's home day care.

LOS ANGELES, CA- Los Angeles police investigators today were seeking other possible victims of a 61-year-old man suspected in two 2007 child molestation cases at a day care business run by his wife in the Del Rey section of Los Angeles.

Pedro Aguirre Borda was arrested about 5:50 a.m. Wednesday in the 11500 block of Braddock Drive in the Del Rey area, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

"The initial case from 2007 was reported, but did not result in a filing by the District Attorney's Office," according to an LAPD statement.

"The second case also occurred in 2007, but was only recently reported in 2016. The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office recently filed warrants for both cases."

The alleged victims were 3 and 5 years old, according to the LAPD.

Borda was being held in lieu of $1.2 million bail and was due to be arraigned today, but it's unclear if he appeared or if he entered a plea.
