Rapper Rich the Kid Beaten In LA Home-Invasion Robbery

LOS ANGELES, CA — Rapper Rich the Kid was beaten in a home-invasion robbery in LA's Wilshire area Friday. Police are looking for five suspects in the violent attack

The rapper was at the apartment of his girlfriend Tori Brixx when two masked men stormed in demanding cash and jewelry, TMZ reported.

"We're told Rich tried to fight them off, and that three more men came into the home brandishing guns," TMZ reported. "Our sources say the men beat on Rich and got away with a significant amount of cash and jewelry."

The robbery happened early Friday in the 3100 block of Wilshire Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Police said only that a male suffered a minor injury, and that several suspects were being sought who took cash and other items.

A photo posted on Rich the Kid's Instagram page showed him in a hospital bed.
