Restaurant Closures Around Venice-Mar Vista
Did your favorite eatery make the Los Angeles County Health Department's naughty list?

LOS ANGELES, CA — In Los Angeles, we're spoiled to have some of the world's best restaurants in our own backyard. But we aren't the only ones feasting. The critters are eating it up too.
Over the summer, the county health department closed dozens of restaurant until they cleaned up their acts. Usually that means dealing with vermin infestations. Most restaurants that are closed for critical violations reopen within a few days after correcting the problem that forced the closure. But beyond major violations that force immediate closure are minor infractions that produce unsanitary conditions which could lead to outbreaks of foodborne or viral illnesses.
