Sarasota Native American Indian Festival

The Seventh Annual Sarasota Indian
Festival takes place January 24,25,26th at the Sarasota Fairgrounds, 3000 Ringling Blvd,
from 9-5 Friday, 10-6, Saturday and 10-5 on Sunday.


Come join us and experience the
traditions, artistry and culture of the Native American people. Meet
artists from many nations sharing their many styles of artwork such
as paintings, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, bead work leather work,
flute and drum makers.


Medicine Tail drum will be sharing
traditional drumming, singing and various styles of dance throughout
the weekend. Our guest musical artist this year is award winning
flutist, flute maker and shell carver Daniel Bigay of the Echota
Cherokee Tribe. Also, Nashville recording artist Traci Snowe will be
sharing her music with us throughout the weekend.
