The group made off with an unknown amount of cash. They stopped for marijuana, and officers caught up with a suspect in an alley with loot.

VENICE, CA — A trio of burglars smashed their way inside a marijuana dispensary in Venice Thursday and made off with an ATM machine while also stopping for marijuana. The helmet-clad thieves escaped with an unknown amount of cash.
Officers were called to the scene of the burglary in the 400 block of Lincoln Boulevard at about 3:10 a.m. Thursday. They determined three men with hammers had broken the window and made off with the ATM, according to Officer L. Lomeli of the Los Angeles Police Department.
However, officers were able to detain one man they found in a nearby alley who allegedly had some of the stolen merchandise, according to NBC4.
