Singer/songwriter Tracy Newman and her band, the Reinforcements bring their special brand of original acoustic folk songs to The Talking Stick on Thursday, November 14 from 8-10 PM. Bluegrass musician, Tom Corbett will also be appearing. Newman is also an Emmy and Peabody Award winner for co-writing the groundbreaking "coming out" episode of "Ellen" as well as producing and writing for "Cheers," "The Nanny" and "The Drew Carey Show." She also co-created the long-running ABC-TV series, "According to Jim." She received critical acclaim for her debut CD, "A Place in the Sun" and has just released her second CD, "I Just See You."
